We are continuing to face challenges in scheduling repairs to the tennis fence at Lochwood.

Unfortunately, the supplies to repair the green coated tennis court fence are still unavailable.  Despite contacting a number of companies, the material is not being manufactured at this time.  It may not be until early 2022 that supplies will become available.

In the meantime, we are doing temporary, incremental repairs to the worst areas.

We will let the community know when we have more news.

As autumn inches closer and the leaves start to fall, the tennis courts are busier than ever with tennis and pickleball matches going on daily.  The following are a few friendly reminders.

  • In order to reserve courts, you need to have an account at lochmere.org and be signed in. Complete instructions on how to reserve a court are on the Court Scheduler page.
  • When you are reserving courts at Highlands, please indicate whether you are reserving them to play tennis or pickleball.
  • If you reserve courts at either location, if something comes up and you need to cancel, please do so. If you need to cancel the day of your reservation, please contact Pam Gilbert (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or Gail Lewis (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and either of them can cancel your reservation.
  • Pickleball players, if you change the height of the nets when you are playing, please return the net to their original height when you are finished playing.
