Lochmere is happy to announce three days of Open Play Pickleball on the Highlands courts from June 1 to the end of September.  Open Play is available each time for all levels and is for Lochmere residents only.

  • Wednesdays -- 6:00-7:30 PM (starting June 3)
  • Thursdays --  6:00-7:30 PM (starting June 4)
  • Sundays -- 8:00-9:30 AM (starting June 7)

The Blood Connection Blood Drive Will Be At Lochmere On June 13

Lochmere Homeowners Association and The Blood Connection are hosting a Blood Drive on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Upper Parking Lot at 502 Lochmere Drive. Each donor will receive $30 in TBC Rewards redeemable for Visa or Amazon gift cards.

Calling All Lochmere Residents -- Raise A Racket To Fight Dementia At Lochmere On June 17

 2026 Raise A Racket

Come one, come all to play tennis or pickleball, donate on-line or in person, hang a tribute flag in honor or memory of a loved one and/or visit the silent auction.  
Raise a Racket - to fight Dementia will be held from sunup to sundown at both Lochmere court locations on Wednesday, June 17th (no rain date).  100% of all funds raised go directly to Dementia Alliance of NC.     Snacks will be provided.
Tennis Information
Registration is currently available HERE. 
Tennis format:
  • Women's Social:  8-9:30 a.m. and 10 - 11:30 a.m. - 6 to 8 courts
  • Francie's clinics 8-9 a.m. and 9-10 a.m. - up to 2 courts
  • Open courts:  noon - 1:30 p.m. up to 8 courts
  • Men's/Mixed Social: 5-7 p.m. - up to 4 courts
  • Triples play:  5-6 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. up to 4 courts
Pickleball Information
Registeration is currently open HERE.  Slots are open for 10am, 3pm and 5pm time slots.  The 8am slot is full though it will reopen if someone withdraws. 7PM will be a show case
 Auction
 The auction is due to open on June 8th. We are still taking donations.

How To Participate

  • Volunteer your time and talent (day of or in preplanning)
  • Donate items for our “silent auction” (community baskets, art, gift cards, etc. welcome)
  • Sponsor: individuals and/or companies
