APRIL 29 UPDATE

  We have had three newly designed large entrance signs installed this week.

• Birkhaven
• Lochmere Highlands West
• Lochmere Highlands

We still have some work to do on the lighting in the next few weeks.

The next signs to be installed are at Piney Plains and Bourne Wood, and then the two signs at Lochmere Dr. and Kildaire Farm Rd.

The last of the smaller signs to be refurbished should begin next week.

Two larger signs on Kildaire Farm Rd. and Cary Parkway are still in the permitting stage with Town of Cary.

JANUARY UPDATE

The other large signs are going to be replaced soon  .Hopefully you have seen some of the refurbished small entrance signs that Lochmere maintains being put back in place.  So far our contractor has refurbished about nine of them in addition to the four in Highlands completed in January.

The remaining signs will take a little longer because the contractor is waiting on materials to arrive so they can construct new faces, etc.

The remaining signs to be refurbished are:

• Lochview at Lochview Drive
• Lochview at Sylvan Grove
• Lochview South at Southbank Drive
• Lochside Glen at Coltsgate Drive
• Lochside at Fox Briar Lane
• Lochside at Wood Lilly Lane
• Lochstone Lane

 The larger entrance signs with the new design are being worked on in stages. We hope some of these can be installed the beginning April. These signs are:

• Lochmere Lakeside
• Lochmere Parkside
• Lochmere sign on Piney Plains Road
• Lochmere sign on Kildaire Farm Road

These signs are part of the Reserve Study and funded from Reserves.
