  • Objective evaluation of aesthetic choices where there are no specific standards to ensure value of property remains in positive growth
  • Careful, objective consideration of changes to the standards to bring them to date, for materials, styles, social issues

What the job isn’t:

Asserting aesthetic views and judgments onto the homeowner’s improvements including:

  • Getting a say on the committee to approve your own request, or approve/decline a neighbor’s requests
  • A way to revamp the architecture standards according to your views
  • Hidden agendas and gaming of any kind

Commitment and requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 hr. EVERY week. Sometimes more is required.
  • Requests are time sensitive.
  • Requests are reviewed and completed using a database called Smartwebs. Understanding of Google Groups and general technology/computer literacy required.
